In an op-ed for the Huffington Post, Daisy Khan responds to the New York Police Department's Islamophobic training video "The Third Jihad," which depicts Muslims as anti-American fanatics. WISE Program Manager, Fazeela Siddiqui, just returned from a two week trip to Afghanistan and Pakistan. In Afghanistan, she conducted the on-the-ground evaluation of the Imam Training Program to End Violence Against Women. In Pakistan, she met with various foundations and non-profit leaders in order to expand WISE in the region.

International human rights lawyer, news commentator and MLT Arsalan Iftikhar recently published Islamic Pacifism: Global Muslims in the Post-Osama Era, a book that presents the sociopolitical philosophy of "Islamic Pacifism" as a humanitarian ethical platform rooted within the general concepts of nonviolence and basic Muslim ethical teachings of mercy and compassion towards all of humanity.
