PEDALOCALYPSE : BikeBike 2012
January 30, 2012Bike!Bike! is an international conference organized by and for not-for-profit community bicycle projects and initiatives. It is an opportunity for people across North America to come together to learn, network, share, affirm, and explore.
The conference itself consists of educational workshops, forums, and discussions. The topics range from wheel building, consensus decision-making, gender dynamics, and of course, how to start a community bike project. All workshops are presented and facilitated by attendees.
We’re looking for help getting this amazing project together mostly in the form of volunteers. Are you a fan of Our Community Bikes stoked on supporting our shop and shops just like ours? We’d love your help. Please check out the Bike!Bike! website for more information, or come into the shop to pick out brains (not literally!).
