General Offerings

Integral Yoga offers more than 100 yoga classes each week at all levels, hundreds of workshops and courses each year, Kirtans and special events and a renowned and respected Teacher Training program. It is the perfect yoga for beginners as well as for advanced practitioners who appreciate authentic, traditional yoga with an emphasis on going inward to access one's peaceful true self. Classes are taught in one of our six beautiful studios by highly trained and dedicated teachers who volunteer their services in sharing yoga. The regular practice of Integral Yoga will give you a more easeful, healthy and comfortable body as well as a relaxed and peaceful mind.

Teacher Training

Building on more than 40 years of training yoga teachers, and continuously evolving and improving to meet the needs of teachers and students, the Teacher Training program is a complete course of study on all aspects of yoga. In addition to learning how to teach the Integral Yoga class, students receive expert instruction in anatomy and physiology, yoga philosophy, meditation and breathing practices, nutrition and much more. Introductions to the Sanskrit language, children's yoga and chair yoga round out this comprehensive program. Integral Yoga offers Teacher Training in beginning, intermediate and advanced yoga; gentle, prenatal, postpartum and therapeutic yoga; Yoga for the Special Child and meditation.

Kirtan

Integral Yoga is proud to be one of New York's premier venues for Kirtan − the art and practice of chanting. IYI has hosted renowned Kirtan artists Krishna Das, Snatam Kaur, David Newman, Wah!, Bhagavan Das, and many more talented devotional artists. The sacred and beautiful Lotus Room and Heaven Room provide the perfect settings to chant and tune into the sacred vibrations that unite us all.
