Dawn Summers | 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm | $25/adv, $30/door |
Yoga postures (asanas) are intended to be an internal experience, leading to mental focus and stillness. It is useful to prepare the body for deep work with movement and repetition of postures. However, the deeper work comes when we hold postures and move our awareness through the breath internally while the body is still. Even though we are not moving overtly, there is an internal dynamism flowing with a current of breath and awareness. Learn how to find that alignment and integrity in a posture and then settle into it with presence and ease to find your still depth.
