Who is the California Building Performance Contractor’s Association?
CBPCA is California’s premier home performance advocate and a leader of the home performance industry’s growth.  CBPCA trains contractors and provides them access to a vibrant home performance contractor community and valuable industry-related knowledge.  CBPCA’s high-level industry partnerships benefit the home performance contractors and the homeowner.  CBPCA has participated in every Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program in California since 2002.

CBPCA believes in a California where a sustainable, ever-expanding home performance industry is responsible for producing energy efficient, healthy, safe and comfortable homes.

 Attention L.A. Participating Contractors! Special Field Mentoring classes

For those who have passed the BPI B.A. Exam:

This is a one-day in-the-field training.  Small groups will work with an instructor on “next steps” including implementing skills learned during the Home Performance with Energy Star training, (BPI certification training). Gain skills in organizing, sequencing, and explaining work during a whole house assessment.  This is a great opportunity to gain extra field practice and have more personal attention from an instructor.  Brush up on putting together a Scope of Work for the homeowner, review basics of the JRT (Job Reporting Template) and more.  All classes are from
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Click the date to register:

Level III Written Tests offered on March 24

CBPCA is offering Level III Building Analyst, Building Envelope, AC/ Heat Pump Specialist and Heating Specialist written exams on March 24th.  
Take 2 tests and save! Cost is $225 for one test of your choice and $400 for two tests.*

To qualify, the applicant must be a licensed contractor or the employee/ subcontractor of a licensed contractor based out of a Los Angeles County office.
