Why  do we start to see fine lines as we get older, and why is it important to get skin treatments?

Answer:

As the aging process begins, the skin doesn’t turn over and regulate the way it used to when we  were younger. We start to lose elasticity and our collagen begins to break down from past sun exposure, environment, and just the natural course of aging. It is my job to make sure that skin continues to work  properly, and to educate you on the right things to put into and on your skin for protection.

Proper exfoliation of the epidermal layer allows me to put into the skin what it is lacking. I look at it like a garden that needs tending. First you take away all the unwanted things, and you put back in what is needed to maintain the health and beauty of your garden (your skin).
