Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Guide Service and Outfitter
We are one of only a few guide services in the area that can really offer guide services on a full time basis. Our fleet of six drift boats and fishing rafts ensure that we are able to offer a safe comfortable trip in the highly variable conditions that we face on the Lehigh River. In addition to PA's best drift boat fly fishing we are also happy to offer quality wade fishing opportunities on public and private water ranging from spring creeks to tiny mountain freestoners. Trips can be mixed together or combined with fly fishing schools for extended fishing holidays.
Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Guides
Located in Eastern Pennsylvania, we have easy access to streams in the Poconos, Lehigh Valley, Cumberland Valley, and more. Our courteous, competent guides are here to help anglers of all skill levels to have a productive and enjoyable day of fishing. Maybe you would like to combine a half day of fishing with a half day hands on stream entomology class. Maybe a half day of trout fishing and a half day of bass fishing. We have the experience and capabilities to handle just about any angling adventure that your angling heart desires. Got a group? No problem, we can handle high quality trips of up to 10 anglers for both drift boat trips or wade trips and we do several group trips for corporate outings, TU fishing trips, and trips for other fly fishing groups.

The Susquehanna River - The Suskie has long been known for it's excellent smallmouth fishery. Though it's had a few tough years dealt to it from Mother Nature, there is no doubt that it was, is, and will continue to be one of the best smallmouth bass fisheries in the region. Pennsylvania Stream Fishing - PA has a diverse collection of fisheries. Small wadeable streams range in size from the two feet wide to a hundred feet wide and provide a variety of fishing opportunites. We tend to classify streams under two categories, Limestoners and Freestoners. Some of the Limestoners we fish are the Little Lehigh Creek, Big Spring Creek, Spring Creek, and Letort Spring Run. All full day trips include lunch, snacks, and beverages. Half day trips include snacks and beverages.
Our guides always carry a variety of fly patterns with them, however the high volume of trips we run can exhaust a guides fly box. We can provide a list of flies a few weeks before the trip if you enjoy tying your own and we can also put a selection together for you if you wish. Visit our fly fishing store for custom fly selections.
If necessary, quality Orvis tackle can be provided for all trips free of charge. Please give us some heads up time so that we can make proper arrangements. Leaders, tippet, split shot, etc can be purchased from your guide before the trip begins.
Prices do not include guide gratuities.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your trip dates. Balance is due on arrival.
Credit Card Fees: Prices quoted above represent payment by cash or check. Due to recent dramatic credit card fee increases, we are forced to apply a 5% surcharge on all credit card transactions for trips and schools.
Cancellations and Rescheduling: Cancellations and rescheduling will be accepted no later than two weeks prior to your scheduled date. We cannot influence the moods of Mother Nature. Postponed trips due to conditions and all refunds are at the discretion of Lehigh Gap Outfitters. All deposits will be held and your trip will be rescheduled within one calendar year.
Remember, we do not enjoy fishing in poor conditions any more than you do. Our goal is for you to have a memorable trip.
