As most of you probably know by now, in September our old chapter, the Intermountain Chapter of STC, was dissolved.

We met in early October to begin a petition to form a new chapter, but due to late notice and scheduling constraints we were not able to meet to get the minimum number of required signatures. After further consultation with the STC main office, we’ve found that we are able to accept electronic “signatures.”

Therefore, we ask all current STC Members who are interested in forming and joining the Utah-STC chapter to please fill out the form below.

Petition to form Utah-STC, a geographic chapter of the Society for Technical Communication

We, the undersigned, being members in good standing of the SOCIETY FOR TECHNICAL COMMUNICATION hereby apply for chapter status as provided in the bylaws. The name of the chapter will be Utah Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (or Utah-STC) and its location will be the states of Utah and Idaho and surrounding areas. The temporary chapter president will be: Paul Pehrson; 6028 Olympiad Ln, Herriman, UT 84096
