The Tarheel 3-Gun Challenge
The Tarheel 3-Gun Challenge is a collaborative effort led by Match Directors Damon Woodall and Charles Sole, with Steve Wall serving as the Range Master. If you are a competition shooter from the Mid-Atlantic region, you are familiar with Woody's Designated Marksman Match and the DPRC 3-Gun Match. These matches continue to enjoy strong patronage due to the intense, challenging, and entertaining match experience. With the Tarheel 3-Gun Challenge we bring more of the same --- on a larger scale.
Rules and Scoring
The match will run under the DPRC rules and scoring system. Paper targets are neutralized with either two-hits-anywhere, or one "down zero" hit.
Match Details
- June 2nd & 3rd 2012
- 150 Shooter limit
- 10 stages including "Jungle Run" stages and rifle shots out to 450 yards.
- Match fee is $150
- Cash Payouts and Prize Table Match
- Only 25 minutes South of Raleigh NC
