Leapset is a next generation commerce platform that connects small merchants to their customers in new and innovative ways. It bridges the gap between the online/mobile consumer and the offline merchants, simultaneously making the interaction more efficient and elegant for the consumer and driving more revenue and cost savings to the merchant.
Leapset was founded in 2011 and spun out of Monvia, a product innovations company that has built dozens of innovative products for companies such as Chase, Yahoo!, Citi, Deluxe, AOL, as well as independent internal projects.
The Leapset team holds over 19 patents, includes leadership that made Y! Finance the #1 financial property on the web, a founding employee of Virtusa (Nasdaq: VRTU), and the team that built the London Stock Exchange platform.
Prior to Leapset/Monvia, Mani led business development for Y! Finance and led product development for PayDirect International. Before Yahoo! he co-founded Crossfunds, a consumer funds transfer business, and was a VP at Citigroup e-Citi. Mani has a BSc Engineering from Tulane and an MBA from Vanderbilt.
Prior to Leapset/Monvia, Jim was head of product development at Yahoo! Finance. Before Yahoo! he was an investment banker with JPMorgan Chase and Rothschild North America. Jim has a BSc in Technology and International Affairs from Georgetown University.
Prior to Leapset/Monvia, Paul was a lead developer at Linden Labs (Second Life). Before that he was lead developer at Yahoo! Data Solutions and Yahoo! PayDirect International. Paul started his career as a NASA Ames Fellow and has a BSc Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
Prior to Leapset/Monvia, Jorn held a series of lead roles on marketing and sales in Yahoo! Ad Solutions and Monetization and was responsible for properties such as Finance, Frontpage and My, and Communities. Jorn has a BSc from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Boston University.
Prior to Leapset/Monvia, Shanil was a founding member for Virtusa and overall lead for its 4000+ global delivery organization. He was responsible for growing Virtusa from eight developers all the way through taking it public on Nasdaq. Shanil has a BSc in Computer Sciences from University of Warwick.
