Crittenden County celebrates its pride and heritage by producing the Pumpkin Festival.  The annual two day event is hosted by the Crittenden County Chamber of Commerce and is held the first weekend of October. The festival is highlighted by plenty of games, contests, food booths and outdoor concerts. Thousands of visitors descend on the downtown area for the celebration.  The Pumpkin Festival, held the first weekend of October, is in conjunction with the Highway 60 Yard Sale. 

Some of this year’s highlights will include the 2nd Annual Pet Show, Living Statues, Pedal Tractor Contest, Pumpkin’ Chunkin, car show, pumpkin pie contest, bouncy inflatable’s, photo contest, the ever popular Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin and the Saturday night concert featuring “Stereo Shout Out”.
