ANCORA IMPARO

is making thinking sexy

[ remnant / residue / leavings / outliers / skeleton / candle ends ]

Each submission for ANCORA IMPARO will include:

1) Your artwork. E.g., a poem or poem series, a selection from a novel, short story, or nonfiction, a blueprint, a score, an excerpt or image, visual, graphic or plastic arts, a song’s lyrics, or an mp3. Are you chef? Consider an image of a plate you’re working on, or a restaurant you’ve opened. Are you a curator, an archivist, an arts administrator, or an interdisciplinary artist? Let us know what you’d like to present.

2) An accompanying brief commentary (from a paragraph up to 3,000 words) exploring what discoveries /lost narratives, sidetracks/ you are making during the process, however tangentially related to your eventual subject matter.

The artwork can take many forms, for example:

If it is a work in process, not yet published, you might provide the work or an excerpt;

If it is already published/in the public domain, you might provide the link or source. If you don’t have reprint permission, we can inform our readers where to find it (e.g., either the specific journal or book, CD, gallery, or a link to the work online);

Additionally you may offer us a link to your preferred vendor, for example, your gallery’s website or online book site.

The audience for ANCORA IMPARO includes artists, craftspeople, students, teachers, and everyone interested the nuances of exploration, learning, and creativity. At the same time that the journal provides nourishment for a public interested in ideas, the journal offers a broader media platform for promoting and publicizing your work. We look forward to your contribution.
