Airaid didn’t just have their awesome carbon fiber 2012 BOSS 302 intake on display, but one of the 15 available Parnelli Jones Edition intakes. Numbered and signed by Parnelli Jones himself, the 15 intake systems will be auctioned off, with all the proceeds to be donated to Page Jones’ (Parnelli’s son) charity to benefit those who have been affected by traumatic brain injuries, such those suffered by Page himself.

BOSS 302 wireless electronic cutouts

Capitalizing on the BOSS 302′s quad-exhaust feature, Quick Time Performance was quick to design a bolt-on electronic exhaust bypass to mate up to the OEM flanges. QTP also incorporated wireless technology which allows cutout activation from a key fob.

New rotor material from Wilwood

When we stopped by Wilwood and asked them what they had new, they showed us this. While it looks like a standard rotor, it is actually a new alloy that should increase rotor life significantly, combined with some design changes to increase rotor cooling. They will be utilizing the new “Spec 37″ rotors across their high-performance and racing lines.

As you can see, there is a chance the 2012 Cobra Jet might have a Coyote-based powerplant instead of the venerable. 5.4L 4-valve. With the Dec. 1st release date, it’s safe to say it will be all the buzz at PRI.

American Racing Headers 2011 GT long tubes

American Racing Headers longtubes for the 2011 Mustang GT are made from American 304 stainless and feature 1-7/8-inch primaries feeding into a 3-inch collector. They are claiming a 26-30 horsepower gain before any ECU tuning, and will be original equipment on the 2012 Cobra Jet.

When we stopped by Race Star Industries’ booth, the first thing we noticed was the new finish on both their Drag-Star and Super Star wheels. Dubbed “Dark Star,” it is actually more than just a new color. Using a particle vapor disposition process, the new coating provides a unique color along with an extremely durable finish with no electrolysis involved.

Looking for something even better than the billet aluminum compressor wheels which have been all the rage, Turbonetics has developed a new max-effort compressor wheel dubbed the HPR made from billet titanium. While Ti is a touch heavier than a equivalent billet aluminum wheel, titanium’s properties in high-boost situations exceed those of aluminum by a large margin.
