The Books

Therese Fowler writes novels about choices and consequences, mistakes, misapprehensions, redemption, and love in all its forms.

Her books speak to issues that affect everyone : family dynamics, social and world concerns, personal challenges, cultural differences, all of which are rich themes for book groups to consider and explore.

While her books are considered “up-market” fiction or “book club” fiction or “fiction for smart readers,” Therese simply hopes to tell good stories that keep readers turning the pages, and leave them with characters and situations to think about after the last pages have been read.

“Compelling…  The characters are likable, troubled, and human, and they’re well worth following on their journey.” ~USA Today

Her books have been featured by IndieBound, the Borders Book Club, and the Barnes and Noble New Reads Book Club.  Target designated Souvenir as a Breakout Book, and it later became a Target Best Seller.  Editions of both Souvenir and Reunion were published by the Literary Guild and Doubleday book-buying clubs as Featured Alternate titles.

Therese’s novels are published internationally, and are available in nine languages and in twenty-eight countries to date, as well as in audio (English and Danish) and electronic forms.
