I finished reading The Nomination which is very different from his other books. Enjoyed it as much as Brady and Stoney and Vineyard mysteries. Will miss his writing as well as Philip Craig his friend. Both were excellent American writers.

my sincerest condolences to Mr. Tapply's family. He wrote a great story and I will especially miss Stoney Calhoun. How sad that there will be no new tales.

I feel as tho we are connected not only through Bill's books but also thru Mike Fosberg, a good friend of my brother's. I was very sad to read Outwitting Trolls, much as I enjoyed it, thinking this was the last great read I would get from Bill. I was especially touched by the last words in the book, "I'm at a good place, too." It must be very comforting to you to know that he left the world feeling that way.

Just finished Bass Bug Fishing and really enjoyed Mr. Tapply's wit and humor throughout. Will be reading more of his work in the future. Best wishes.

Just this week I learned of Mr. Tapply's death. I am devastated. His books are absolutely wonderful, especially the Brady Coyne novels. I shall miss them greatly. My condolences to his family; you have truly lost a treasure.
