AddThis.com unveiled there services at DEMO almost a month ago and have now officially released their beta program.
What is AddThis? Well, it is two fold really. Web surfers can collect information online with a one click, and then send it to their favorite bookmarking service, feed reader, shopping service, podcast application, etc.
For web publishers, the addthis button will help you promote your content by making it easier for your visitors to collect, save and distribute your work to the social service programs. It will let them bookmark your site, subscribe to your feeds, save your product information, and save your podcasts.
You can add the button to your website or your browser, and when clicked it will open up this window for you to bookmark the content:
