Partner with the UUA Bookstore for Justice in Phoenix

As you probably know by now, this year's General Assembly has been designated a "Justice GA," with a particular focus on migrant issues, economic justice, and racial justice.

The UUA Bookstore is taking this important mission to heart, and we need your help.

We are committed to raising funds for two Phoneix area groups: The Comités de Defensa del Barrio (CDBs) and Puente AZ. These groups perform vital work on the ground in Arizona, and have been selected by the General Assembly Planning Committee to receive funding and support from the UUA.

Here's how you can help:

1. Make purchases at the UUA Bookstore in Boston, online at www.UUA.org/bookstore, or in person at the UUA Bookstore at General Assembly.
2. When checking out, use the promotional code "PhoenixGA"
3. Encourage your friends, congregants, and others in your community to do the same.

For every purchase athat makes use of this code, we'll make a contribution equal to 5% of your purchase equally divided between CDBs and Puente AZ.

If our sales using the code exceed $100,000, we'll double our donation on sales from that date until the end of GA  - up to a total donation of $15,000!

We are very excited to be able to support these groups, and sincerely appreciate your support.

Dear Friends,

We're thrilled to be able to support Puente, AZ and The Comités de Defensa del Barrio (CDBs) this year in Phoenix. These worthy organizations do vital work in migrant rights and racial justice on the ground in Arizona, and with your help we can help them further their mission with a significant donation.

What you may not realize, however, is that all year long your purchases at the UUA Bookstore fund the work the UUA does in ministry, outreach, justice, and more. When you shop with us, you are supporting your denomination.

To keep with the justice theme of this year’s GA, and in recognition of the importance of migration issues in today’s culture, we have added an Immigration section to the UUA Bookstore website.  You can browse all of the titles in this section by clicking the link on the left side of this page. Keep checking back, as we will continue to add more titles on a regular basis.

Finally, if you haven’t yet booked your congregation’s book fair for the end of the church year, now’s a great time to do so. We can help with title selection, great discounts on books, free shipping, and more!  Click here or on the Book Fair button on the right side of this page for more information.

Thanks so much for your support!

Happy Reading!
