Making Yule Logs

UUFNN held its first ever Yule Log Ceremony on Sunday, December 4 at the Fellowship. Children of all ages participated during their religious education classes. They each made a log to take home and made extras for other members in the church to have logs for their homes as well. The event was a phenomenal success as members Carole Chouinard and Rebecca Parker led the charge. Sundry volunteers helped and were integral in whipping up the paraffin wax used to attach everything - the acorns, candles, dried leaves, et cetera - on the logs. Carole hopes the event will continue every year.
