The Saint Francis University Small Business Development Center is seeking nominations for its annual Small Business awards. Nominations are being accepted from Blair, Bedford, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon and Somerset counties until March 23 for Small Business Person(s) of the Year, Exporter of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Financial Services Advocate of the Year, and Women in Business Advocate of the Year. Winners and nominees will be recognized at a luncheon at noon on Wednesday, June 13 in the JFK Center on the Saint Francis University campus. The Blair County Genealogical Society will be holding a three-week Genealogical Course for beginners to experience researchers three consecutive Tuesday evenings starting 7pm March 13^th at the Roller Hojeth Memorial Library, 431 Scotch Valley Road in Hollidaysburg.
