Adobe Adverts
Overview
This work required combining both digital elements and real world elements, I am very much a designer more comfortable in the digital arena, but rarely bring in elements created outside that environment.
I used Abode as my company to advertise for, as I really felt that their brand would suit the two elements well, with an advertisement showing a design piece progress from it's original real world sketch into a finished digital creation. I felt it would also show the potential that the digital world holds for people that might not feel so comfortable in it.
The real world elements of the first adverisement were reverse engineered, a photo was taken of my hand, and the 'create' word was produced in 3D, from print outs, these were then sketched before being taken back onto the computer and into the adverts.
The second advertisement, while not as obvious, also combines both digital and non-digital techniques, most of the spray coming out the top of the bottle is actual photographs of paint that was thrown around in my garden. The paint was extracted from the photos, before being colourised in photoshop and worked into the final piece.

Visual Communication
Overview
Visually an image can initially deliver one message, but upon further invesigation of a piece, you can start to see other meanings that weren't quite so apparent before. These works aim to deliver pieces that stand true to these principles.
I produced two pieces, the first was created in 3Ds Max, and brought across the character from my Life on a Leash short film, once the scene was created and rendered it was then taken into Photoshop for the final touches to be applied. This included creating the illusion of Depth of Field and some lighting adjustments.
The second piece is called 'What Controls Yours', this was put together from a combination of different graphic elements, all these were heavily worked on in Photoshop, and carefully merged together to create the final, and hopefully thought provoking outcome.
What meanings do you see within these works?

R and P Design Branding
Overview
The 'R and P Design' name was originally created two years ago, but as both a person and a branding, since this time I've moved forward, and the logo needed to mature with my progress.
The Design went through a few different variations to it's current conclusion, I wanted the design to feel modern, and fresh, but also to carry my message of my digital based work and lifestyle, both the Pixels and Colour scheme relate to this message.

Digital Painting
Overview
This piece was created to demostrate that you can't trust images in modern times, be it that you've seen an image in a newspaper or on the internet.
Originally this photo was a 'black and white' image, and then I digitally painted the colour back over the image using numerous layers and adjustment within Photoshop. Additional work was also done on the image, from new eye lashes through to a tooth repair, and then the final piece was displayed within a tongue in cheek advertisement with reference to the work that had taken place.

iMac Adverts
Overview
This advertisement pieces were created to sell apple's iMac product range.
The iMac were both photographed in a pitch black room, on a black glass table. The lighting was applied with the use of a wireless flash, long exposue shots were taken and the flash was fired from different angles to create the desired lighting.
Once the shots were taken, some final small fixes were carried out in Photoshop on some imperfections, and then the advertisements were created.
