Stopping Violence Against Women & Children

The Elizabeth Fry Society provides a safe and confidential environment where women, children, and teens can speak with a trusted person, access counselling, develop a safety plan, and learn about their rights and options.

Moving Low Income Women Out of Poverty

We offer personal and career development programs that assist low income women in getting back on their feet and moving toward long term independence and security for themselves and their family.

Promoting the Legal Rights, Justice & Services for Women & Children

We provide court support and information to women and children involved in the justice system. We advocate on behalf of women and children to ensure that their legal rights and needs within the justice system are met.

Leadership:

Our organization is governed by an elected volunteer board of directors, who hire an Agency Coordinator.  The board and Agency Coordinator lead with an emphasis on outward vision, encouraging all to express their views, strategic leadership, clear distinction between staff and directors, collaborative decision making, and a view toward the future.

Our organizational values include equality, diversity, integrity, teamwork, and fiscal responsibility.
