Restraining Order Information

The following 7 minute video explains what a restraining order is and how to obtain one. Thanks to the Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice grant # 07-WF-AX-0009 and to Oregon State Police/LEDS for support in making this video.

A Saving Grace restraining order advocate is available at the Deschutes County Courthouse to help with filling out and filing restraining orders.

Instructions on how to get a restraining order explain the eligibility requirements and process of filing a restraining order. You can also modify an existing restraining order or you can renew a restraining order.

Restraining order applications can be downloaded. Saving Grace advocates in each office can help with completing them.

Mary's Place ~ Supervised parent/child visit and exchange center

Mary's Place is a safe and neutral location for supervised parenting time or exchanging children without the parents seeing or hearing each other. Mary's Place is located in a daycare center so it is a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for both children and parents to spend time.
