Michael Beach is a San Francisco-based musician who writes, records, and performs under his own name, and as a member of Melbourne-based trio Electric Jellyfish. Since 2008, he has put out records on the Ecstatic Yod, Peru’s Tacu Tacu Records, Twin Lakes Records and Spectacular Commodity.
‘Trouble Coming Down,’ the latest Electric Jellyfish release, was recorded in a two-day session in Melbourne’s inner north suburbs in between shows on their 2011 Australian tour. It will be released March 1, 2012 as a limited edition cassette on Twin Lakes Records, and will be supported by a coast-to-coast USA tour featuring shows with Feedtime (AU), The Feeling Of Love (FR), Hank IV, Carlton Melton, Night Beats, and Spectre Folk.
Both Electric Jellyfish and Michael Beach solo will be playing shows at South by Southwest in Austin.
