Conservation Corps Members Corps Members work on small crews completing high-priority environmental conservation projects across the state of Vermont restoring trails, streams, and natural areas.
Conservation Crew LeadersLeading a crew for the VYCC is an adventure unlike any you've ever had before! As a member of our Field Staff you will serve as a teacher, work supervisor, and role model.
School Program - Corps Members and Instructors The School Program is a work-based learning crew experience for Vermont high school students. Corps Members spend part of each school day earning academic credit on a VYCC Crew while learning to take responsibility for their own education.
Monitor Barns Farm - Interns Farm Interns gain firsthand knowledge about farming, Vermont's food system, and the link between food, education, community, and food security in Vermont.
 
 
Headquarters Staff The VYCC headquarters staff is housed at the Leadership, Education and Training Center in the historic West Monitor Barn in Richmond, VT. This group contributes to the overall behind-the-scenes work of the organization which ranges from supervising crews to expanding new ideas for the future.
 
 

Each year the VYCC employs hundreds of Corps Members and Crew Leaders to complete conservation and education projects across the state of Vermont and other parts of the country. Each crew type is unique and requires individuals with a wide range of skills and abilities to complete priority conservation and service projects.

The VYCC has a variety of positions available for those interested in the environment, education, personal development, leadership, or just a cool summer job. Our recruitment staff will help select the perfect fit once you have applied.
