Grant applicants must be committed to the process and prepared to pursue the recommended course of action.
Management Assistance Grants (MAGs)
The Forbes Funds accepts and reviews MAG requests as they are submitted. Our Board of Directors makes funding decisions on a quarterly basis during the calendar year. Your organization's application may not necessarily be reviewed in the same quarter you have applied.
An organization qualifies for a MAG if:
it is located in Allegheny County
is a 501(c)3 organization
is a human services and/or community development organization
it will use a consultant to guide the project work
is willing to undertake a capacity-building challenge that is not already underway.

Cohort Grants
The Forbes Funds solicits requests for Cohort Grants by issuing formal Requests for Proposals or inviting agencies to apply. If you wish to receive information on future cohort opportunities, contact us.
