Sound artist and musician Benny Nilsen has won a Leverhulme Trust residency to work with Professor Matthew Gandy. BJNilsen will introduce and work with sound at the UCL/Urban Lab throughout 2012. More info to follow.

”Name of the next song” is the new creation by Örjan Andersson, created together with four dancers from the US, Spain and Israel as well as musician and composer BJNilsen who created electronic music with nature as a starting point.

Double Négatif Karl Lemieux makes short films and film performances also creating 16mm film for musicians such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor and The Black Keys. His Rotterdam visit, is one of dream fulfilment, allowing his very first live collaboration with Touch’s BJ Nilsen to become flesh. Primarily focused on the sound of nature and its effect on humans, BJNilsen’s powerful field recording based compositions will powwow with Lemieux’s freshly arid footage of Death Valley. @ WORM Rotterdam, NL
