Cross-Platform Compatibility
I currently have a PC but I am switching to a MAC, will my font files transfer?
P22 font data is platform specific. While there are instances where the font data may work on both MAC and PC platforms, P22 does not offer support for cross-platform issues. The P22 End User License Agreement requires that the MAC and PC be purchased separately. If you are simply switching platforms, there is no cost. However, if you require the use of both the MAC and PC formats, there is a Dual Platform Fee. The Dual Platform fee is a discounted fee that can be calculated by subtracting 50% from the base selling price. For example, if you are currently registered for Cezanne PC format and would like the MAC data, the cost is $15. You can obtain the Dual Platform License by sending an inquiry to natalie@p22.com.
Ordering and Downloads
My font won't download to my computer, what am I doing wrong?
P22 provides files by download. There is a 2 hour time limit required to download the fonts from the time the font is purchased. The links to download the fonts appear on the "Thank you" page. If you selected to download the fonts and nothing appears to have happened, it is possible that your fonts have been downloaded to a location on your computer that is specified in your browser's (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etal) preference section. Check to see where this location is in your browser’s preferences.

Information about P22
What is P22?
P22 began as an artist collective in and around Buffalo, NY in the 1980's. Mail art, snow sculpture, book making and other artistic endeavors in the spirit of the Dadaists lasted a decade. In 1994, P22 type foundry was created as an off-shoot to accommodate the bourgeoning side project that became the flagship and main focus for all things P22.
P22 type foundry developed and prospered with its art-based fonts that recreated artist handwriting such as Cezanne. Monet, Gauguin for consumption within the Art Museum and Gallery gift shop marketplaces, worldwide. Today, P22 type foundry is joined by 4 additional divisions: the International House of Fonts (3rd party designs from around the world); the Lanston Type Company (historic type foundry dating back to the 1800's, acquired by P22 in 2005); The Rimmer Type Foundry (complete work of type designer Jim Rimmer, former Lanston Type Director); The Sherwood Collection (historic type designs by Ted Staunton). In addition, P22 is a distributor for the calligraphic designs of Robert Leuschke and the TypeSETit collection of fonts. P22's goal in all facets of type design is to present historic type in a modern relevant fashion.
