Welcome to the All New 2012 ROS Website
Thank you all so much for making 2011 an incredible inaugural year for ROS. At the outset of our journey there was simply no way possible that we could have forseen the stellar response from audiences, musicians, critics, and donors. It was a resounding success on all fronts and we are busy putting together a new lineup of outstanding musicians and programs that we hope will entice and enliven your summer weekends once again.
Please stay tuned for future updates and announcements for the 2012 season. And thanks for stopping by to see the new colors and media on our freshly updated site. We look forward to seeing you on Govenors Island!

“The freewheeling new series of contemporary chamber music on Governors Island, organized by the pianists Blair McMillen and Pam Goldberg, wraps up with a free concert (performed twice) that uses Falla’s “Suite Populaire Espagnole” as a jumping-off point for more adventurous repertory by Sofia Gubaidulina, Marc Mellits, and John Adams (the ubiquitous “Road Movies”); the pianists are joined by the violinists Miranda Cuckson and Nurit Pacht.” (Sept. 4 at 1 and 3.
