Repeal is within reach! Though the Illinois legislature and Governor Pat Quinn repealed the death penalty in 2011, we aren't out of the woods yet! Reinstatement is still a very real threat! We need people from every legislative district to continue to talk to their legislators, submit letters to the editor to their newspaper, ask their church or organization to participate and be a voice in support of repeal of the death penalty.
