The Sailfish Cup is the second richest fishing tournament in all of South Florida, the sport fishing capital of the world, ranking only behind the World Sailfish Championship in Key West.
The event is hosted in beautiful South Beach, Miami and combines NASCAR and Fishing in a pre-championship race competition that pits anglers, team owners, drivers, and sponsors against each other in a fight for the prestigious Bill France, Jr. Memorial Sailfish Cup. The tournament includes gourmet food and top shelf open bar at all venues, celebrity competitors, top notch entertainment, private parties, national television exposure, huge payouts and world class fishing.
The Sailfish Cup is the first major sailfish tournament of the season. Only 43 teams are permitted to compete. NASCAR President, Mike Helton, chairs the Awards Banquet complete with live and silent auctions benefitting the NASCAR Foundation and Speediatrics, a racing themed pediatric unit at the new Homestead Hospital. |
