Executive Series shotguns combine form, function and art in the finest Italian tradition. The hard-working shotguns of the Executive series have been transformed by the master artisans at the engraving workshop of Cesaré Giovanelli, where the receivers were hand-engraved with animated game scenes and finely executed scrollwork. Executive series guns are ornamented to one of three levels of elegance and all are mounted in AAA-Grade select European satin walnut stocks, chosen for color and dramatic figure. The stocks and fore-ends are detailed with 28-line-per-inch, fine-line checkering.

The Executive Grade I features refined and elegant hand-engraved game vignettes, framed by acanthus scrollwork and fine-line geometric borders. The left receiver face is decorated with a pair of pheasants in flight and the right with a scene of rising woodcock.

A pair of elusive woodcock take flight in a woodland glade on the right hand receiver face of the Executive Grade I. The birds and forest landscape are hand rendered in classic line engraving style.

The Executive Grade II is more elaborately covered with hand-engraved game scenes, surrounded by lavish floral-motif scroll engraving. The engraved scenes depict an English setter in the process of flushing a pheasant and a pointer and woodcock in a wintry woodland landscape.

Line shaded acanthus scrollwork and a detailed English setter ornament the receiver of the Executive Grade II. Naturalistically rendered details of brush, clouds and field cover fully display the artistry of the engravers.

The Executive Grade III exhibits the highest standard of Giovanelli hand engraving with exquisitely crafted wildlife scenes, acanthus and floral scrollwork and engraved overlaid gold details. The left hand receiver face bears a spaniel standing at point and a rising snipe set against a view of an extensive coastal marsh. The right side features gliding ducks over a large lake.

Gold overlay is used to full effect in this scene of spaniel and rising snipe. The gold surface is delicately shaded with fine-line engraving to provide depth and dimension to the scene and the right side features gliding ducks over a large lake.

The matching AAA-Grade select satin walnut butt plates of the Executive series are attached to the stock by rose engraved machine screws in steel escutcheons and anchors.
