What Is SD-X?
SD-X assigns, maps, and prints nearly invisible markings onto a printed surface—a picture, logo, paragraph, or a touch point as small as a single letter. The SD-X digital reader recognizes these unique markings when it touches the surface from any angle, triggering a programmed audio event heard through the reader's onboard speaker or headphones using the built-in jack. The audio can be a recorded voice, music, or sound effects. The digital reader also records each touch to allow complex game play, scored quizzes, and predictive tests.
How the Reader Works
The SD-X digital reader identifies carbon dot codes and responds with prerecorded and preprogrammed audio to identify, explain, and interact with the printed page.
