    UMCOR Disaster Case Management Training

    UMCOR Disaster Case Management Training will...

    • help you identify and address survivors' strengths and unmet recovery needs;

    • provide you with the skills, knowledge and tools to link survivors with needed resources for recovery; and

    • prepare you for your role in restoring hope, rebuilding lives and re-establishing homes.

    Basic Disaster Case Management Training is a two or three-day, in-depth course designed to prepare caring helpers for work in guiding survivors through their recovery. UMCOR's model for disaster case management uses a (w)holistic approach, which incorporates the unique perspective of the faith community with an understanding of the emotional, spiritual and physical impact of the disaster on survivors.
