Easter Sunrise Service, 6:30 AM Join us for an inspiring Sunrise Service on the lawn in front of the Main Sanctuary on our beautiful campus at First Church. Don’t forget to bring fresh flowers to decorate the cross in front of the sanctuary. 8:00, 9:30, 11 AM and ICON On Easter morning, in addition to the Sunrise Service, First Church will also have all four of our regularly scheduled Sunday services. IN MEMORIAM: BISHOP PAUL ANDREWS DUFFEY
Former pastor of First United Methodist Church of Pensacola, Bishop Paul Andrews Duffey passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012 in North Georgia after suffering a brief illness. Funeral arrangements are pending and will be forthcoming. Paul Andrews Duffey began life in Brownsville, Tennessee. After attending the University of Alabama, he finished his degree at Birmingham-Southern College. His alma mater has awarded him an honorary doctorate and elected him a life trustee where he was formerly chairman of the board. It will include some of our usuals, but be on the lookout for a few new and exciting additions including Family Takeoff Night.
