The unique equipment configurations have allowed Emmert International to relocate such notable objects as Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose Airplane, The Hubbell Telescope, and the 3.2 million pound Fairmont Hotel in San Antonio, Texas.

Our fleet of specialized equipment includes our unique transportation dollies rated at 35, 50, 60 and 70 tons, self propelled hydraulic platform trailers capable of moving 10,000 tons, prime movers, dolly beam transport systems, low bed trailers, 128 axle lines of Goldhofer trailers, customized over road transport systems, specialized marine loading components and customized railcars. Over the past 40 years we have solved some of the most difficult transportation problems working with outside engineers, clients, and manufacturers to overcome some of the most difficult projects in the industry. View	Rail To assure that we can meet the needs of our clients Emmert International owns and maintains a fleet of specialized railcars including 45 - 12 axle deck rail cars with a 740,000 capacity and a 20 axle Schnabel car capable of transporting 1 million pounds. Our ability to track shipments, and accurately calculate arrival dates, has lead to efficient rail transports, which equates to a cost savings for our clients.
