spacer Jonathan Sanbuichi started working in the finish room in late 1995. After working in the finish room for 5 ½ years he then started turning bed posts and working on restoration. His passion is building from a picture with minimal amount of information.

spacer Douglas Simpson first started at Irion in 1987 as a mill worker for 6 years then starting dove tailing drawers and before he knew it he was building tall case clocks. He currently specializes in our custom end of our furniture shop. His passion is the knowledge of woodworking.

spacer Bradley Ramsay started out apprenticing in 1994 by building sets of chairs. He started carving the shells on chairs and volutes on crest rails and his passion quickly went to the carving end of building furniture.

spacer Emanuel Castro started in 2006 apprenticing in the finish room. He appreciates the craftsmanship of the cabinetmakers and likes to show his appreciation by bringing out the beauty of the wood.

spacer Gerald Martin started out at Irion in 1985. He is originally from Virginia and had a passion for cabinetmaking. His passion was to be the finest craftsman; which today he is one of the finest Early American furniture makers.

spacer Jacob Andress started apprenticing in 2007 and will become a full time employee once graduating from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in May of 2008.

spacer Jeffrey Rath originally started working at Irion in 1993 in the finish room. His passion is to bring the best out of the wood with the hand rub finishes.

spacer Jeffrey Williams started in 1985 came on as apprentice/mill worker started making feet, base molding and backboards. He had the opportunity to help clocks, chairs and tall chests and then Irion realized his value to the shop. He currently specializes in Federal style furniture which consists of veneering, inlaying, and marquetry all done period correct.

spacer Matthew Skatz started apprenticing in mid 2005 he quickly became the head of the bed department. His goal is to become a carver and build case pieces for Irion.
