eCosway a Scam?

An email came through my inbox notifying of new mlm companies and one of those was eCosway. A quick look showed this company had actually been around for a while having launched in 2002. The company is based in Malaysia where it’s most well known, but is an international company with the parent company, Cosway, having been around since 1979. The parent company has it’s US headquarters located in Irvine, California. The company operates in a number of countries including Malaysia, US, Canada, Australia and the UK

Seeing as the company had been around for a while and I hadn’t heard of it I decided to take a closer look to what people were saying about it, and there was some interesting comments to be found online.

One of the unique aspects of the company is they will provide you with a free retail store once you reach a certain level. The rent, electricity, basically everything is covered by the store. This is a very interesting incentive for people, and for some may be the only way they could achieve a dream of running their own shop. The flip side way to look at it is ecosway gets to have free staff to run their stores.

You would want to double check the numbers to make sure it’s a worthwhile endeavorer to build the business to the point where you can have a free store, as running a store would no doubt require a significant commitment of your time. Labor is always a big cost in retail, so if you did plan on hiring someone to run the store then would you want to make sure there are enough margins to pay a staff member.

I couldn’t find anything standout in the product range, in today’s marketplace many of the successful new companies have a USP, or Unique Selling Point, for their product, and in many cases and a primary lead product which has the advantage of focusing people’s effort and attention in the same direction, and being able to create simple, duplicable systems around it.

Reading through other peoples comments I see the common statements how only a few really succeed, but the reality is that is true for anything in life. How many of you achieved your childhood dreams? Eric Wore, a well known trainer in the industry, answered the question of what do average people make in MLM. His answer? Nothing. The average person makes nothing in their business because they have average ambition and average drive to achieve their goals.

Success in eCosway isn’t going to come easily, it would require a lot of work. One red flag was mentioned about the business opportunity was that they don’t allow marketing it online. In todays internet connected age having those restrictions is going to slow the potential growth of your business. Having said that the most successful mlm/home business online marketers don’t promote their business directly online. Their success is founded on list building by providing upfront value, cultivating the relationships with the people on their list, and then communicating the details of passion and why behind choosing their primary business, and how they will be able to help you achieve the same success.

At the end of the day there a number of key factors to look for in choosing a company, and two distinct key factors that will determine your success. To find out what they are fill in the form on the right with the question of what are the key factors. This is the information you absolutely need to know if you will achieve your goals. Do it now!

Jordan Adler on Commitment and Consistantcy

What does it take to make $8 million dollars in network marketing? Thats right, $8,000,000. Sponsoring in two new reps every week? What about one rep a week, or even just a rep every two week? The answer might surprise you…

If you’ve been in the industry for a while you may have heard of Jordan Adler, a legend and mentor to many. What often shocks people to hear after knowing how super successful he’s been is how he was in 11 companies prior to making fortune, where he didn’t sponsor in a single rep. Not one!

The average person would give up and quit, but average people get average results and live average lives. Jordan still had the fire in the belly and on the 12th company found a routine and rhythm, and managed to sponsor in on average just one new rep to his business a month. One a month!!

Over a few years that one a month grew and duplicated, and in the process generated himself millions in revenue. From one a month!

Do you think after the first year his income was significant? Probably not, but his mindset was to stay laser focused and consistent on promoting the system. And that my friends is one of the biggest factors in network marketing.

That fact is we live in a society with an addiction to quick fixes, easy options and fast gratification. Are you one of shortcut junkies or someone with a realistic view, and resolve to follow through to rise to the level of people who create real success, wealth and the lifestyle that affords? It takes time to work on yourself and your business, to create the success that will

Another Jordan, a Mr Jordan Belfort aka The Wolf Of Wall Street, had a great insight into success. He said it’s easier to get rich quick than it is slow, BUT first you need to master the 7 keys skills. It’s like a combination lock, once you crack each part of the code then BOOM! huge things happen. Which is just like Jordan Adler, he stuck with it, learnt what he need to do, and now he’s millions richer from it.

Now you can’t join that company Jordan made those millions in anymore, but there are other companies and teams you can plug into to start creating that. Recently the top distributor with our company retired and after 5 years in the business sold his position to an group headed up by the famous golfer and businessman Greg Norman for a multi-million dollar amount. This company is still in it’s infancy and the sky is the limit for people who join now and work it consistently.

We have the proven system in place you can promote the products and business which has attracted some very high profile athletes, doctors and business people, names you would instantly recognize.

So my question to you is, are you serious about making a change in your life?

Are you committed to consistently following a proven system to achieve that change?

Great! The next simple step to following through is putting your details into the form on the right so you can get the information you need make it happen and so we can start connecting and giving you our full support to make it happen.

Are you going to continue on the same path or change direction that one degree and come to a new place? The choice is yours and the time is now.

Autism, Mercury and Glutathione

One of the most difficult challenges a parent could face is seeing the symptoms and finding out their child has been diagnosed with a developmental condition. Many recent reviews have estimated an occurance of 1.2 per 1,000 for autism and nearly 6 per 1,000 for ASD (autism spectrum disorder), however because of inadequate data, these statistics may in fact underestimate ASD’s true prevalence.

Are you are a concerned parent trying to sift through the hype and panic to work out what the most promising strategies would be to help manage the condition? What I’m going to present here for you is some research published in the peer-viewed scientific journals. Whether the cause is genetic or environmental, through suspects including vaccinations and mercury fillings, there is a common observation across research in the published science. And that is people diagnosed with autisim, or the two other autism spectrum disorders, have low levels of cysteine and glutathione.

Cysteine is a sulfur containing amino acid, which has special and important properties because of it sulfhydryl group. Glutathione is the body’s master antioxidant which is made up of three amino acids and the most important of the three, which is also the one in the shortest supply, is cysteine. You might not have heard of glutathione, but if you search for it in the main database online for published peer-reviwed health science, www.pubmed.gov, you will get 100,000+ search results, compared to about 45,000 for Vitamin C and 35,000 for Vitamin E. So why is it so unknown? Simply because untill very recently there wasn’t an effective way to raise glutathione levels inside your cells.

First is an article published in the Neuroendocrinology Letters, in October 2005, which is titled Mercury and autism: Accelerating Evidence? (source) The article states:

The process of cysteine and glutathione synthesis, which are crucial for natural mercury detoxification, are reduced in autistic children, possibly due to genetic polymorphisms. Therefore, autistics have 20% lower plasma levels of cysteine and 54% lower levels of glutathione, which, among others, adversely affect their ability to detoxify and excrete metals like mercury.

Next in the Journal Of Neurological Sciences, published in December 2008, is an article titled Biomarkers of environmental toxicity and susceptibility in autism. (source)

Significantly decreased plasma levels of reduced glutathione (GSH), cysteine, and sulfate were observed among study participants relative to controls. The transsulfuration abnormalities observed among study participants indicate that mercury intoxication was associated with increased oxidative stress and decreased detoxification capacity.

Another article, this one in a 2007 publication of the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health, titled ‘A Case Series of Children with Apparent Mercury Toxic Encephalopathies Manifesting with Clinical Symptoms of Regressive Autistic Disorders‘ (source) had to say:

Eight of nine patients (one patient was found to have an ASD due to Rett’s syndrome) had … (d) had biochemical evidence of decreased function in their glutathione pathways.

In the BioMedCentral Neurology journal the 2011 article titled Novel metabolic biomarkers related to sulfur-dependent detoxification pathways in autistic patients of Saudi Arabia stated in the results:

Reduced glutathione, total glutathione, GSH/GSSG and activity levels of GST were significantly lower … in autistics compared to control subjects.

Published in Alternative Medicine Review is the article Biomarker-guided interventions of clinically relevant conditions associated with autism spectrum disorders and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. (source) says in the abstract:

Newer evidence, however, reveals that ASDs are associated with: oxidative stress; decreased methylation capacity; limited production of glutathione; mitochondrial dysfunction; intestinal dysbiosis; increased toxic metal burden; immune dysregulation, characterized by a unique inflammatory bowel disease and immune activation of neuroglial cells; and ongoing brain hypoperfusion. Many of these same problems are common features in children with ADHD.

The inflamatory bowl disease mentioned is another key aspect I’ve read and heard before, a few quote from articles (1, 2, 3) include

Gastrointestinal disturbances are commonly reported in children with autism

Bowel symptoms are frequently reported in children with ASD and a potential role for gastrointestinal disturbances in ASD has been suggested.

Studies have related autism to chronic inflammation in the intestinal lining and to food allergies

So what does all this science suggest simply?  Two common themes I see in the published science is first inflammatory gastrointestinal/bowel issues.  Second is low levels of cysteine and glutathione, which is crucial for detoxification of heavy metals, other toxins and neutralizing free radicals to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation.

How can you best naturally support the your body in these two areas?  As a general rule with any gastrointestinal/bowel issue problems a good start is a pro-biotic to replensish the good bacteria to help restore balance in the GI tract.  The best pro-biotic I’ve found on the market is Fast-Tract which is a gluten-free certified organic pro-biotic liquid with full spectrum of high concentration Lactobacillus (friendly) bacteria.  It’s a big bottle (750mL) so it lasts a while as each dose is only 25mL.

Raising cysteine and glutathione levels is a bit more tricky as direct glutathione supplements don’t really work, and intravenous glutathione is expensive, and can’t get inside the cell.  Fortunately thanks to two very brilliant medical researchers, Dr Keller who was voted in to 2000 Outstanding Scientists of the 21st Centry, and Dr Nagasawa, a world renowned medicinal chemist who also developed the new fast acting cyanide antidote, they both cracked the code to glutathione supplementation and made their products available through the company Max International, and is backed by an extremely experienced medical advisory board who volunteer their time for this position because of the phenomenal results they’ve seen with patients across a wide variety of health issues.

To find out more about how these products can raise glutathione levels, read through the products pages on MaxGXL and Cellgevity.

Dr Nagasawa’s Cyanide Antidote Closer To Market

I was reading an old article on Dr Nagasawa, Max International’s executive scientist and created of RiboCeine, about the story behind him creating the fast acting cyanide antidote.

Two things stood out as I re-read this article. First was the final two paragraphs;

Nagasawa retired and moved to California in 2004, but his retirement is relative. Now 80 years old [in 2008], he still consults on the project and stays in touch daily with Patterson, who took over the lead role.

“It’s so important to solve this problem,” he says. “My philosophy is that if you have anything to provide to push this problem forward intellectually, then you are morally obligated to get it done.”

What a man Dr Nagasawa is to have such a commitment to creating technology which will only help other people!

Second, I noticed the antidote had the name Sulfanegen. I did a google of that and found some articles posted just the other week saying how the company Vytacera Pharma had been granted an exclusive license to commercialize the antidote that Dr Nagasawa and Steven Patterson had researched and developed. Jon S. Saxe, chair of Vytacera said in a statement “Our goal is to make this important advance available to those in need of it and to enable governments to be better prepared, which, ultimately, may help deter terrorism.”

It’s great to see Dr Nagaswawa’s two crowning achievements as a medicinal chemist both coming to market. Sulfanegen through Vytacera Pharma and RiboCeine through Max International.

Natures Pearl Grape Exposed

“ARRGHH” was my first reaction, a rep for Natures Pearl contacting me about their business opportunity through my own website for a competing company. I don’t usually appreciate when someone try to solicit their opportunity so directly, but then I again wouldn’t have found out about what I currently do with Max otherwise.

I always keep an open mind for any big new product developments, I want to be marketing the absolute best product I can find, so I had a close look into what they were offering. In short I was pretty disappointed with what he had to show, and here’s why…

First he told me how it cured his cancer, a big no no. I don’t really care about anecdotal stories, every health product has them and it could get the company in legal troubles by strongly implying that the product treats of cures a disease. What separates the top products is the backing of the published science and clinical data. In my experiences the real words results follow from the scientific data anyway.

They did have a human clinical trial published in the Journal Of The American College Of Nutrition (here) which I was quite interested in looking at, and at first impressed they had one. So I read through it and there was one paragraph which stood out, in a bad way…

“The muscadine grape seed supplement did not result in significant changes in blood pressure, lipid parameters, glucose or inflammatory markers. Similarly, there was no difference between the grape seed supplement and placebo with respect to changes in MDA, 8-isoprostane, or total antioxidant capacity

There was a small increase (about 4%) in the resting brachial diameter, but no evidence of improved brachial flow-mediated dilation (The brachial artery is the major blood vessel of the upper arm)

So is Natures Peal a scam? Don’t get me wrong, there are some great compounds in grape seed which have been shown in research to have many beneficial properties such as anti-cancer effects. In fact we have it as one of 13 ingredients in one of our products. But when you’re forking out good money for that one super supplement to take each day, and potentially marketing it to people you know, then I want to see much better results in the key biomarkers like inflammation and antioxidant capacity.

The human clinical for our MaxGXL product showed on average:
A 276% increase in intra-cellular levels of glutathione – your body’s master antioxidant
A 61% decrease in Tumer Necrosis Factor Alpha – one the main inflammatory markers
A 41% increase in DHEA and 46% increase in IGF-1, two key hormone levels which decline with age.

So after evaluating the Natures Pearl Muscadine Grape supplement I’ll be passing on this network marketing business and sticking with what is still the king of supplements. If you’re considering joining the Natures Pearl MLM or using the product I would be making sure you compare it to the Max products first to make sure you make the right decision.

So what you need to do next is quickly pop your details in on the form to the right with your #1 question about Natures Pearl or Max, and you’ll be able to see how the products and science compares.
