NYC’s first dedicated realtime audio visual salon (1998) returns to MonkeyTown
for a “round robin” evening of quality live electronic audio visual duets…
In some cases this means one partner makes sound and the other image…
In other cases both partners may each contribute sound & image…

These days they’ve begun to call this kind of thing “Live Cinema” (in Europe at least) - not an ideal identifier but better than most alternatives - we still prefer: “realtime electronic audio-visual performance” for now… although even we know this is too long for anyone to actually say…

with: Aerostatic (NYC), David Last (NYC), David Linton (NYC), Oblaat (NYC), Sariah Storm (LA), Socks and Sandals (NYC), Steve Nalepa (LA) on stephan moore's 16 channel hemispherical speaker system, and with Chika  (NYC), Chris Jordan (NYC), David Lublin (Troy NY) on the hausofouch semi- spherical beg borrow and steal projection system and honorary guests Bill Etra (NYC), Benton Z Bainbridge (NYC).
 
this is a  seemless 4 hour event where audio artists rotate 15 min sets with continuous multi channel video 'over' mixing...
