Time Warner Cable Converts Plano Television Network to Digital
Local cable television provider Time Warner Cable has switched the broadcast signals for Public, Education, and Government channels to digital format. The City’s Plano Television Network (PTN) will remain on channel 16 and this adjustment will only affect those subscribers with analog set top boxes. According to Time Warner Cable, basic service tier customers will be provided a new converter, upon request, free of any monthly charge through December 31, 2015. So tune in to PTN – now in digital! Plano Television Network Launches New Line-Up
The Plano Television Network (PTN) has launched a new programming schedule featuring new shows, entertaining and informative theme hours, and new replay times for City Council and Planning and Zoning (P&Z) meetings. Live coverage of the City Council and P&Z Meetings will be broadcast at the normal times.
The new “replay” schedule for both meetings is 1:30 and 7:30 (a.m. & p.m.) on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
