Pre-apprenticeships at the Skills Employment and Growth Conference, QE11 LondonGraham Hasting-Evans, Managing Director of NOCN talks at the Skills, Employment and Growth Conference in London on 1 March 2012, about our pre-apprenticeship work and the importance that it has for helping people realize their potential. NOCN’s workshop provided delegates with an understanding and overview of how courses and recognised qualifications have been developed to equip different learner groups, those that are disadvantaged, unemployed and young people including NEET, to prepare for and progress to further learning, apprenticeships and then employment by gaining an appropriate level and mix of personal, generic employability and vocational skills that are formally recognised through the achievement of individual units from NOCN national qualifications and/or full NOCN national qualifications.
