Appalachian offers degree and certificate programs at Appalachian Centers and on the campuses of many of the community colleges in western North Carolina, UNC institutions, and at several public buildings and schools. Appalachian State University has Centers at four locations in the Hickory, Burke (Morganton), and Caldwell (Hudson) areas. Appalachian staff are present at each of the ASU Centers to assist visitors and students. While each site offers a variety of academic programming, the ASU Centers offer selected undergraduate programs on a full-time, day-time basis (8-5, M-F). Part-time academic programming is offered at many locations throughout western North Carolina.
