The 2007 North America Photobloggers meetup will be held here in Chicago from April 27 through April 29, 2007. I’m on the steering committee that is organizing the event. Thanks to our fearless leader at Photoblogs.org, Brandon Stone, we have a website up and running at northamerica.photobloggers.org. Bookmark it and check it out on a regular basis as we’ll be adding information on events, tours, hotel accommodations, breakfast, lunch and dinner plans, etc. as we go along. Balancing Act was honored with a Juror’s award at the National Photography ‘06 exhibition at the Main Street Gallery in Groton, NY. The show continues through Sunday.

In addition, I’ve got photos in four other shows: The National Photography exhibit at the Santa Cruz Art League, Santa Cruz, CA continuing through Sunday; the Toy Polloy show at The Icehouse, 412 Cross Street, in the burgeoning Lexington, KY art district running through December 1; Child’s Play at the Nerve Gallery, 43 Harrison in Oak Park, Illinois, continuing through December 30; and Caught in the Act at the Icebox Gallery in Minneapolis, MN through January 6, 2007.
