Tandem, for the soprano/clarinet duo Noise-Bridge (Christie Finn and Felix Behringer) to be premiered in the spring of 2012.  Among the many musical ideas explored in this piece are the phonemic deconstruction of language, the distribution of points in time, the notational mediation of an improvisatory performer-instrument dynamic, and the process of becoming-metric.
