Job FAQ

After I send my resume how long will it take before I am contacted about scheduling an interview?

If there is an open position that is a good fit with your qualifications we will contact you for a phone interview or an interview in person. In addition your resume is added to our database for our recruiters to access for future opportunities. Due to the volume of resumes we receive we are unable to accept phone calls.

Where can I find out what positions are open?

We update our posting weekly and post all openings on www.newmexico.jobing.com.  You may also contact each property to inquire about each open position.

What is the interview process like?

Once we determine a fit with an open position you will be contacted to meet first with  Human Resources or a department supervisor. After the initial meeting, we will let you know if there is a potential fit and set up interviews with other hiring managers related to the position. This might require several visits and we will do everything we can to make this a smooth process for you. Of course, references will be checked prior to an offer of employment being extended.

How should I dress for my interview?

Heritage Hotels is a corporate environment where we dress to impress!

Does Heritage Hotels relocate employees?

We do offer relocation assistance for qualifying positions.

Do you have any internship programs?

Heritage Hotels and Resorts corporate office has internship positions available in marketing and sales. Occasionally we hire interns at our properties but we do not have a full internship program in place at this time.

Do you have any part-time jobs?

Yes, we have a number of part-time jobs at our properties. Remember that you can always apply in person at any one of our properties.

How do I find out if there are any positions available at a specific property?

With the exception of Manager level positions which go through the corporate office, all other hiring is done at each individual property. Putting the responsibility at the property level helps ensure we are hiring from the community. It also encourages a more personal interaction with management at each property. If you are interested in a part-time or full-time position at any of our properties we encourage you to apply in person at the property of your choice.
