I’m sure many of you are curious what type of content you’ll continue to see over the next couple of weeks. Our goal is to provide the best and most comprehensive coverage of Moogfest. If you couldn’t make it to this year’s festival, we’ll make it feel like you were there with a diverse range of interesting articles and an amazing amount of live performances caught on video. Even if you attended all three days of Moogfest, we know you’ll want to re-live the best moments. And, since there is no possible way that you could have seen all the thrilling performances, we’re here to help.
Missed one of the in-store performances at Harvest Records (The Field and The Drums)? No sweat because we got ‘em. Missed the secret shows at the Moog Factory (Dan Deacon/Neon Indian collaboration and Cloudland Canyon/The Antlers collab)? We got those too! And we have all these via the soundboard, so they’re going to be amazing!
Oh yeah, you’ll continue to see more official performances (we’ve already posted Moby, SBTRKT, and Passion Pit – so how about the Flaming Lips, Amon Tobin, Crystal Castles, STS9, and Umphrey’s McGee to give you a small tease?), some crazy interviews (I can’t wait to see the Dan Deacon and Alan Palomo from Neon Indian joint interview, which I’ve heard is hysterical), and tons of behind-the-scenes festival footage with Moog Music, AC Entertainment, Asheville officials, and much, much, more!
We must have the most quality video coverage of Moogfest out there. In fact, this just might be the best overall coverage of any festival by a single outside company ever!
And, with our launch less than a month ago, we’re just getting started!
But wait, there’s more! You may have noticed that The Tuned Inn looks a little different than your average online publication. That’s because we are (just wait until you see what we have in the works)! Let’s give a quick run-through of some of the cool features we’ve already implemented on the site.
Comments: Ok, this is an obvious one and not that unique, but we really want to encourage dialogue and it took a while to get the comment system working properly. Have fun!
Chats: We have temporarily removed our chat system, but we will be installing a new system in the near future.
VYou: This is another new feature that we just implemented. We’re hoping more artists join in the fun within the upcoming weeks. Right now, you can talk it up with our buddy Kip from Cloudland Canyon. Just head over to his profile and ask him anything. He’ll get back to you with a video response. He promises!
