Tangerine Fields are based within the main festival campsite. Therefore you will need to purchase a WEEKEND WITH CAMPING ticket* from the festival you are attending to use our service.

 

You will not be able to access the Tangerine Field if you purchase weekend non-camping or day tickets*. (*not applicable to the Hay Festival)

We always recommend you have your festival camping ticket booked before you book with us (You may not receive your actual festival tickets until just before the festival but as long as you have a confirmed booking for them then you can book with us).

 

If you book accommodation with us, then end up not getting a festival camping ticket, you will be subject to our cancellation fees if you have to cancel your Tangerine Fields booking. Please see our Terms and Conditions for cancellation fees.

We hire Tents for upto 2, 4, 6 or 8 people, Tipis for upto 2, 6 or 8 people, Mini-Yurts for 2 people, Geo-Domes for 4 people and Gypsy Caravans for families or groups of upto 4 people.

 

We also provide various accessories such as Airbeds, Sleeping Bags, Head Torches and Gas Stoves.

Not all accommodations or accessories are available at each festival so please check the booking page of the festival you are attending to see what accommodations are on offer.

All our equipment is rented, and should be left for our staff to pack down at the end of the festival, with the exception of the sleeping bags and the head torches, which you can take home with you.

 

If you do not take the sleeping bags home with you we donate them to various local, national and international charities, including Oxfam and Shelter.

All our accommodations are pitched and ready for use from when the festival campsite gate opens until it closes. Check the website of the festival you are attending for campsite opening and closing times.

All our tents are pitched together in the pre-designated Tangerine Fields area of the campsite. When making your booking you can specify your preferred site within the Tangerine Fields area (ie. General, Family) and we will pitch you next to other people who have made the same request.

If you have registered with the festival you are attending as a disabled camper and wish to be pitched in the disabled field then please contact us with your booking reference number (bookings@tangerinefields.co.uk) at least 10 days prior to arriving at the festival to allow us to contact the festival and make arrangements for this to be possible.

Please be aware you a camping in a busy festival field which can be nosiy so make sure you bring ear plugs if noise effects your sleep.

Arrival information can be found on the booking page of the festival you are attending. Tangerine Fields are also located on several festival site maps so please check the website of the festival you are attending.

Our large Orange Check-in Gazebo will be located at the entrance to our field and from there our on-site staff will show you to your accommodation.

Please ensure:

1. You bring your booking refence number (TF__-____) with you.

2. You arrive within the check-in opening times stated on the arrivals instructions page

All our accommodations are pre-allocated to each individual booking prior to your arrival and will be reserved for you no matter what day you arrive at the festival

The Tangerine Fields check-in gazebo is NOT open 24hours. Usual check-in times are 8am - 12midnight, however please check Arrival Info on the booking page of the festival you are attending as this can vary slightly from festival to festival.

All tents booked together will be pitched together. If more of your friends want to be pitched with you and are booking seperatly then, after you have made your first booking, have all your friends enter your booking reference number (TF__-___) into the group code box when making their booking.

 

If you have all already booked but not grouped your bookings, then email bookings@tangerinefields.co.uk with the booking reference numbers, and names the bookings were made in, for all your group and we will link all the bookings together so you are pitched together.

We are unable to pitch tents in groups with boutique accommodations (tipis, yurts, etc) but we will do our best to have you pitched as close as possible

Sorry, but only people who book pre-pitched accommodation will be allowed into the Tangerine Field*, we do not provide space for people to pitch their own tents.

 

* Not applicable at Hay Festival where we provide self pitching space

Sorry, but for security reasons and so that we can control the use of the services provided within our field, only people who book pre-pitched accommodation will be allowed into the Tangerine Field where we offer the Added Juice Service.

 

Your friends can visit you at your tent if you have booked for a non-added juice festival.

At Added Juice festivals there will be private toilet and shower facilities within the Tangerine Field.

 

At non-added juice festivals the festival supplies shower and toilet facilities within the main campsite.

At many festivals we now have our own secure field within the festival grounds. This field will be with our own private showers, toilets and security and you will be issued a Tangerine Fields wristband upon arrival to gain access to this field. You can identify which festivals are Added Juice by looking for the added juice splash on the festival logo.

 

Several of the added juice fields are also now equipped with the Pamper Parlour with its handy hairdryers, straighteners and curling tongs. Check the event info on the bookings page for the festivals you will find the pamper palours at.

The festival provides on-site security and stewards within the main campsite, including the Tangerine Field. However, large gatherings of people can provide easy pickings for thieves. Car keys, cash, credit cards, mobile phones, wallets, purses and other valuable items should be kept with you at all times. Do not leave them in unattended vehicles or tents.

 

Check the website of the festival you are attending for information regarding crime prevention and availability of storage facilities for valuables.

Even though we have additional security at Added Juice festivals you are still camping with lots of people you do not know, so please still be careful and keep all valuables with you.

Please dont bring a padlock for your tent. It is a sign to thieves to rob the tent. They will just cut there way in and steal all your valuables. Please secure all valuables in the locker storage facilities available at the festivals

Depending on the size of the festival and the location of the Tangerine Field we can usually be found between 5 and 30 minutes walk from the main arena. Arrival Info, with location details of the Tangerine Field, can be found on the booking page for each festival.

 

Please also check the website of the festival you are attending as we are often now highlighted on festival site maps.

You can make a booking from anywhere in the world. Please enter your home address as we may need to verify it with you if making any amendments to your booking.

You can pay by debit or credit card online at the time of making your booking. Please check the card logos on the bottom of our homepage for the cards we accept.

Please check you are using one of the cards that we accept. The logos can be seen at the bottom of our homepage.

Sorry, but we require full payment at the time of booking

We do not post out any tickets for you to check-in to your tent. We will email you a booking confirmation with your booking reference number that you will need to print-out and bring with you to check-in to your tent. Your booking confirmation can also be viewed and printed by logging into 'My Account'.

 

Car Park Passes for Hay Festival, Big Chill and Glastonbury Festival will be posted out to you so please ensure you update'My Account' or email us if you change address. Parking is free at Isle of Wight Festival -  You will just need to bring a copy of your booking confirmation to park.

Please check your spam/bulk/junk/quarantine email folders for your confirmation email. You can also view and print-out your booking confirmation by logging in to 'My Account'.

 

If you still cannot find your confirmation please email us, stating the festival you are attending, and we will re-send your booking confirmation.

To add an extra tent , tipi, or any accessories (airbeds, sleeping bags, etc) to your original booking please book them via our booking page. Please state that these items are to be added to your original booking in the Requests section and enter your booking reference number (i.e TF12-3456) in the Group Code of the booking form. There is no fee to add items to your booking in this way.

 

To change your booking (ie. change your order from a KingDom tent to a Tipi) please email bookings@tangerinefields.co.uk with your booking reference number, the festival you are attending and details of what you wish to change your booking to. You can change your booking for an administration fee of £10.00, plus the difference in the cost of the accommodation price.

Please also refer to our terms and conditions if you are looking to cancel part of your booking.

Refunds are subject to our Terms and conditions:

1. If the booking is cancelled 14 days or more prior to rental start date a cancellation fee of 10% of the prepaid rental amount will apply.

2. If the booking is cancelled 7 days or more prior to rental start date a cancellation fee of 50% of the prepaid rental amount will apply.

3. No refunds shall be given if the reservation is cancelled less than 7 days prior to rental start date or if you fail to arrive at the event on the rental start date and fail to notify Tangerine Fields in advance of this date.

The sleeping bag is a summer rated season 2 bag and is recomended for use in the following temps: +5°c to +13°c. If the forecast for the weekend of your festival is cold/rainy/windy and you are susceptible to these conditions then we would suggest you bring a blanket for additional warmth

The airbeds are double sized, suitable for 2 adults. The dimensions of the airbed are 188cm x 137cm. We do not supply single size airbeds

We do not rent out gazebos. If you wanted to bring one with you please first check the website of the festival you are attending as many festivals do not allow gazebos and we have to follow the festival rules regarding them. If the festival allows them then please note in the requests section of the booking form that you will be bringing a gazebo and we will leave space for you to pitch it. Please ensure the gazebo is not larger than 3m x 3m. No awnings or covers are allowed to be attached to any Tangerine Fields accommodations.

Sorry, but we do not allow pets within the our campsites.

For all festivals we follow the festivals guidelines - Please check the info page of the festival you are attending. If BBQ's are permitted by the festival then please ensure all BBQ's are lit a safe distance from your accommodation, raised off the grass and kept to a small and manageable size. We allow BBQ's within the our campsites at Glastonbury and Hay Festivals.

Sorry, but we do not allow campfires within the our campsites at Glastonbury and Hay Festivals. For all other festivals we follow the festivals guidelines - Please check the info page of the festival you are attending. If camp fires are permitted by the festival then please ensure all fires are lit a safe distance from your accommodation and kept to a small and manageable size.
