Chancellor G. David Gearhart

University of Arkansas, Fayetteville 
Dr. G. David Gearhart became the chancellor of the University of Arkansas on July 1, 2008, following 10 years of service to the university as vice chancellor for university advancement. Previously he was senior vice president of Penn State University, during which time he was named a Fulbright Scholar, studying at Oxford University in Oxford, England.

Chancellor Daniel W. Rahn

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences

As the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences chancellor, Dr. Dan Rahn leads Arkansas’s only academic health sciences center, which encompasses patient care, education, research and outreach resources at locations across the state. He became the fourth chancellor of UAMS Nov. 1, 2009. He previously served as the president of the Medical College of Georgia and the senior vice chancellor for health and medical programs for the University System of Georgia.

University of Arkansas at Monticello

Dr. Jack Lassiter became the 11^th chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Monticello on July 1, 2004. A native of Greenville, Texas, Lassiter first joined UAM in 1977 as director of the Learning Development Center. After two years as dean of college and student services at Wharton County (Texas) Junior College, he returned to UAM in 1980 as vice chancellor for university relations and student services, beginning a 17-year stay on the Monticello campus. In 1993, he was named vice chancellor for academic affairs and student services.

Dr. Paul B. Beran was named chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith on July 1, 2006, four years after the institution achieved university status after being a two-year school since 1928. Since his appointment, Dr. Beran has worked to facilitate the development of more majors and more opportunity for students resulting in growth of 12.7 percent in student headcount over the last five years.

Dr. Lawrence A. Davis, Jr. has served as chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff since November 5, 1991. He is the second in his family to serve in the position after his father was president of the university, formerly named Agricultural, Mechanical and Normal College, from 1943-72. Davis previously served as dean of the School of Science and Technology and dean of arts and sciences at UAPB.

In addition, he served as chairman of the board of the William J. Clinton Foundation from 1997-2006. From 1997 until it opened in 2004, Rutherford also supervised the planning for the Clinton Presidential Library.
