ACCORDION REVOLUTION !! The St. John’s Folk Arts Council invited you to join an Accordion Revolution. You came, you squeezed, you conquered! The old Guinness record for the largest accordion ensemble, The new record set on August 6th, 2005 in Bannerman Park, St. John's, NL was 989 ! A thousand thank-yous and congratulations to the hundreds of men, women and children who participated, all members of the Accordion Revolution Security Enforcement team, the St. John's Folk Arts Council, CBC and Anne Budgell, and VOCM for their long hours of hard work and tremendous promotion.
