Abe Sada is a bass noise improv quartet whose main aim is to manipulate the lower end of the sound spectrum through live shows that combine installation with performance.They often play with tools, knives, whips, radio’s and other domestic appliances – often playing under or around stages to vibrate audiences with the extreme bass they produce.
Directed by Perth based sound artist and composer Cat Hope, Abe Sada has a constantly evolving line up of bass players.
The second Abe Sada album The Low Chord is out now on Japanese label Kubitsuri Tapes International. Also availble from this site. The album features collaborations with Ed Ammendola (Augie March) and Dave Brown (Bucketrider).
Debut album SUBZILLA available in the store; CD and download. Featuring chainsaw solo and vocals by tabatha purwell.

See Abe Sada live at Bakery in May 2007 here. This is a rare “lineup” peformance as Abe Sada usually play spread out within the architechture of a building or anomonously.
