VA "13" Platform B - OUT AUGUST 1

Lützenkirchen's Platform B imprint is back on the map with its 13th release, aptly titled "#13".

First up is Lutzenkirchen himself with "Nightcutz", a tense groover with a bubbling bassline. Otherworldly stabs and tight percussion lead the way through the tunnel, while the hi-hats provide the frantic momentum.

Gilbert Martini takes over with "511", featuring some sample goodness and monster drums. Add some rave stabs and you're ready for the clinic.

Closing up the EP is Pierre Deutschmann and his "Booya Tribe" track, whose menacing bassline grabs you by the throat before the chugging drums take over.

Beatport Links will follow asap.

Tom Wax "It's our Future" (The Updates incl. Lützenkirchen Remix) - OUT NOW

1995’s Berlin Love Parade anthem It’s Our Future gets resurrected for the latest edition in the series of lovingly-reconstructed Great Stuff Roots Edition releases.

Tom Wax started making music under the name AWeX in 1994 with the aim of making experimental electronic music without boundaries, and created this landmark banger without knowing what was on his hands.

A huge slice of acid-fuelled groovy techno. Nu-NRG and shuffling hi-hats, it was rather ahead of its time and makes for excellent remix fodder – as these 3 reworkings ably demonstrate.

Holland’s DJ Madskillz shows why he’s so highly in demand with a jacking rework that stays true to the original, giving the percussion a cutting-edge shuffle and teasing the acid in and out of the foreground tantalisingly. It threatens to explode but never quite does, instead working as a very effective tool.

Lützenkirchen gets cheeky and wonky, with a rude descending bass groove throbbing away under sharp beats, galloping rhythms gradually working their way into the mix for extra punch.

Tube & Berger go for a heightened sense of drama, weaving some epic piano chords into the breakdown and flexing their own spiky acid line beneath those of the original. Big room breaks with heads down grooves – a winning combination.

Lützenkirchen "Dread Phase" Respekt - OUT MARCH 14

Tobias Lützenkirchen is on a roll and spreading his Techno disease like there's no tomorrow!

His debut cut on Respekt is a manic, hypnotic ride full of sonic surprises popping out at ever corner.
Laced with his exquisite production, "Dread Phase" just reeks of quality and superb techno workmanship.

On the remix we have Hertz, who have twisted the original and put it though their trademark gritty filter, turning the track into a rolling locomotive chugging through the darkness, in true Respekt style.

Lützenkirchen "Don't Fear To Rock" 1605 - OUT FEB. 28

1605 is very proud to welcome the infamous Lutzenkirchen on board with "Don't Fear To Rock".

A producer who needs no introduction, Lutzenkirchen effortlessly whips out an original which sets new standards for the scene, and for his personal sound as well. Starting off with a massive groove and an infectious bassline, the title track builds and twists until the boundaries of tough house and techno are blurred into a percussion-led frenzy.

Handling the remix is none other than Beltek, who transforms the track into a peak-time monster, making use of a razor sharp bassline, and menacing stabs which leave no man standing.

Clearly, both of these dudes are not afraid to rock.

Lützenkirchen "Splinter Cell Remix EP" soon on Off Axis

Off Axis Recordings delivers a very especial release with the "Splinter Cell Remix EP". The label calls the record "The Comeback of Techno". Lützenkirchen's original version is an intense old school, pumping techno track. Act. Sense's remix is a careful produced track, which is merging the old and new school together into one piece of pure bliss. Go Techno!

Lützenkirchen "Get Lost EP" soon on Sabotage

Sabotage starts showing its teeth, this time with an EP from the mighty Lützenkirchen. With his feet firmly planted in tough, tech house, Lützenkirchen's first offering , "Get Lost", is a bouncy, uplifting affair with a vocal hook that really makes this a cross-over release. Roy Rosenfeld takes the original to more techno territory with sharp synths taking over and a mighty bassline to spice things up. Continuing on the infectious sound, "Kansas City Shuffle" is another party-friendly gem that features an instantly memorable sax sample...A sample which Wehbba mangles beyond recognition and throws into an intense blend of rugged, shuffling beats. This is tech house for serious headz.

Sander Kleinenberg - R.Y.A.N.L - Remixes by Pleasurekraft, Lützenkirchen, HiJack Brothers

Little Mountain Recordings is back with another large package. Following on from March’s release of ‘R.Y.A.N.L’ (Rock You All Night Long), we now present to you the remixes. Throughout 2010, the original ‘R.Y.A.N.L’ track has been a peak-time disco-fuelled future anthem, featuring tough techy percussion, a deep pulsating bassline and an infectious Daft Punk-esque vocoded vocal line which wowed audiences worldwide. The original track was first road-tested by Sander in the cream of the world’s clubs to great effect and caused a huge stir amongst the world’s DJ elite over the entire summer. The track also gained huge support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong.

Little Mountain Recordings now presents the remixes. The package opens with a storming remix from Pleasurekraft. This duo are based in both Stockholm and Miami, and combine the best in international house. They have turned in recent club slammers such as Tarantula, Kanamari and a slew of hot remixes for the likes of Jean Claude Ades, Lea Luna and Miles Dyson. Their remix is a cool, sounding chic interpretation, which will work on early floors as well as mid. The hook-up with Sander progresses beyond the label, as the pair will take to the decks with Sander in the US, including a set at Cielo in NYC on 30th September.

The next mix comes courtesy of Luetzenkirchen. Hots on the heels of recent EPs such as Weekend Freakshow, Phuture Disco Vibes and Just Thursday, the German maestro’s remix is a tougher workout, as you might expect. His signature tech-heavy beats and electronic stabs drive the track while firmly applying the funk at the same time. This remix will cater for the more driving, peak time moments.

The Hijack Brothers Remix is a more electro-sounding workout, with mad stabs and a pulsating bassline which will put any good sound system through its paces. It’s a full-on, in your face remix, which really uses the vocoded influences to maximum effect. This act, comprising of Jack Lomo & Jack Diuzi, prove their diversity of not only turning in innovative house music, but also have rock and downtempo productions to their name. The duo even have a completely new funk-fuelled interpretation of Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit slated for release! Little Mountain Recordings is delighted to have The Hijack Brothers on board! The release of ‘R.Y.A.N.L’ remixes is set to ensure further plaudits for Little Mountain Recordings, and further ensures Sander Kleinenberg’s profile remains high as one of the most hard-working and pioneering DJs around in 2010.

Men of the moment and flavours of the month come and go, as the phrases suggest. It’s relatively easy to get a short-term buzz in dance music – but in these days of limitless downloads and increasing disposability, few hotshots have got it what it takes to go the distance.

Lützenkirchen is one name that refuse to go away. Munich’s foremost electro-techno exponent has moved effortlessly between underground and overground success in recent years – scoring a German Top 10 chart hit with the huge 3 Tage Wach while putting out a prolific, consistent stream of cool and credible club tracks, all a decade after he first began producing. From his huge remixes for the likes of John Digweed and Coburn to his outstanding 2008 artist album Pandora Electronica, the power and quality of his productions rarely slip. Meanwhile his acclaimed live sets continue to grow in reputation, his charismatic stage presence bringing a breath of fresh air to the usual limp and lifeless laptop workout.

Tobias Lützenkirchen’s roots in the music game go way back to 1992, when he first appeared on record as singer. After immersing himself in his love dance music by working as a promoter in Ibiza in 1995, he worked as a professional background vocalist and songwriter on some major projects from 1996 to 1999, before succumbing to the house and techno bug that had been slowly consuming him. Some 20+ aliases, artist names and collaborative groups later, Lützenkirchen was born in 2005 – the name with which he would finally become a global star.

Blending infectious, jacking techno grooves with dirty electro sounds and dashes of house, his sounds is electronic as they come, but with a real sense of funk that makes his music accessible to a wide range of DJs, clubbers and part-time dance music enthusiasts. He doesn’t follow the musical crowd – but that’s not to say that he doesn’t know how to keep the music fresh. Continually striving to innovative and evolve his sound, you can always count on him to push things forward – rather than copying the latest hotshot or ripping off endless old records.

He only began his DJ career in 2006, when the success of his productions began to bring booking requests from around the world, and by 2008 he had switched to performing pure live sets. But whether he’s playing to 300 people in a sweaty provincial German nightclub, or to 35,000 at a huge festival, his enthusiasm and passion are the same. The last two years have seen him play in every continent at least twice, with 8 tours of Brazil in the past 3 years alone. Despite this heavy travel schedule, he remains one of the most prolific producers around – with a level of quality that few can match.

He’s not about hype, trends, fads or jumping on bandwagons – Lützenkirchen lets his music speak for itself. And 10 years on, it’s still telling quite a story…
Not countable anymore!

He had more than 100 releases on Beatport within the last 6 months!
